Jakub Voráček (*August 15, 1989, Kladno) is a former Czech professional ice hockey forward who played 15 seasons in the NHL.

Career:

Beginnings:

Voráček started his career with HC Rabat Kladno, making his debut in the 2005/2006 season.

Halifax Mooseheads:

In 2006, he was selected first overall in the CHL Import Draft and played two seasons in the QMJHL.

Columbus Blue Jackets:

Drafted 7th overall in 2007, he made his NHL debut in 2008, scoring a goal in his first game against the Dallas Stars.

Philadelphia Flyers:

Traded for Jeff Carter in 2011, Voráček became a key player during his ten seasons with the Flyers.

Return to Columbus:

In 2021, he was traded back to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Cam Atkinson.
